Kevin and Meity got married in a small, intimate setting, surrounded by only their closest family and friends. The wedding took place in Alkmaar, such a beautiful old city with a lot of authentic streets and corners… I just loved to walk around there and soak up a bit of the local vibe. I’m always happy when I get to photograph small gatherings; it means that there is enough time to spend with the people and connect with them on an important day like this one. It makes for a really relaxed vibe and you can feel that in the photographs too!

It was a pleasure for me to hang around these Kevin and Meity and take their wedding photographs in their home town. They considered the photo shoot as an important part of their wedding, so they could really spend some quality time together and enjoy each other’s company on their big day. I consider it a nice challenge to put as much variety in my (wedding) photographs as I can, and Kevin and Meity completely went with whatever I suggested without hesitation. Because of all the trust they put in me it was super lovely to work with these two, and I can’t thank them enough for that!
